Doug is an artist who hand picks the wood used in his pieces from his own property. Doug has his own methods of construction & finishing of his pieces that ensures they stand the test of time. 

He uses Mortise & Tenon joinery, which means his pieces are not screwed together. He also applies a finish that makes the surface “smooth” and ends with a protective coating.
