Custom and personal services are offered to our clients. Custom is all about your specific needs within your home, office or retail space.
Joan makes sure that every detail is looked after and if there is a problem, she will take care of it as part of her services.
An in-home or on-site consultation is the first step to helping a client. This allows Joan to assess your needs and come up with solutions that work for you.
We use many sources not available to typical retail outlets. We find what is right for you and we typically get a piece made just for you and your home. That means specific design, style, fabric & size. The quality of custom furniture far surpasses that of typical soft goods. We have a large selection of "designer" fabrics to choose from for reupholstering, draperies, bedding & accessories.
When picking a paint colour for your home, Joan doesn't match the colour to an item or piece of fabric - instead, she makes sure the colour she chooses for you is right with everything else in the room. One purpose of colour is to harmonize an existing space. Joan can tell you what a colour will do to your room and how it will affect you.
"It doesn't have to match to go" is the first thing Joan learned in Interior Design.
Joan can design a window treatment that is appropriate to your style, budget & type of window. A custom workroom is used to make sure that a professional window treatment is produced. We also have a great selection of drapery hardware and finials.
Space planning is an area designers are trained in. If you are planning a kitchen or bathroom renovation, Joan can design it for you and works with many contractors & cabinet makers to ensure the designs and plans are carried out as they should be. Joan looks after the details.
A lot of money is invested in most home improvements, and it is worth your while to seek the advice of a professional. In the scheme of things, Joan's advice costs very little to make sure that your investment looks its best. Joan will work with you to plan your space effectively, specify all interior elements & make sure everything is coordinated. Or, she can help you select the colours and finishes required during most home improvement projects.
We can help you to "fill-in" with some great lighting, ceiling fans, accessories, custom picture framing, mirrors, silk trees, and local original artwork & sculptures.
